Georgia 529 changes name, reduces fees
The Georgia Higher Education Savings Plan has changed its name to Path2College 529 Plan in conjunction with the addition of new investment options and the lowering of expenses.
A 100% Fixed Income Option has been added to the menu. In March, 2008 a Money Market Option will also be added.
The all-inclusive fee for the age-based options has been reduced from 0.78% to 0.65%. Total expenses on the fixed options range from 0.50% to 0.76%.
