Comments to IRS on difficulties with new Coverdell ESA reporting
Philip Royce of Bankers Systems Inc. has submitted comments to the IRS regarding the many difficulties imposed on Coverdell ESA trustees and custodians as a result of newly issued reporting requirements on Forms 5498 and 1099-Q. Several suggestions are made for changes to these reporting procedures.
