MSRB seeks online centralization of 529 disclosures
The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board is seeking comment on draft rule changes to implement an electronic system for access to "official statements" of municipal securities new issues (MSRB Notice 2007-05). The official statements would be made available through the MSIL/Access system to follow the SEC's "access equals delivery" rule.
Municipal fund securities (529 plans) would be required to provide official statements through MSIL/Access even when they do not qualify for the "access equals delivery" model.
