John Hancock survey suggests advisers pick up the 529 pace

A survey commissioned by John Hancock College Savings found that for over three-quarters of producers, 529 savings plans are less than 5% of their business. Twenty-nine percent of producers said they don't sell 529 plans.

This despite the fact that a previous consumer survey for John Hancock found that more than two-thirds of parents and nearly one-half of grandparents planned to contribute to 529 plans if they had not done so already.
