Vermont increases state tax credit for 529 contributions
Vermont's state tax credit for contributions to its 529 savings program will increase in 2007 to 10 percent on up to $2,500 in contributions per beneficiary (maximum $250 credit per beneficiary). Currently, the tax benefit is limited to 5 percent on up to $2,000 in contributions per beneficiary (maximum $100 credit per beneficiary). H.B. 843
