Survey finds increased 529 usage among boomer households

A recent analysis of 175,000 interviews among Boomer households with children across a wide range of income levels found that 529 usage increased from 7.4 percent in 2003 to 10.2 percent in 2004. The data comes from the Claritas Market Audit. 529 usage is highest among high net-worth households but was found to be increasing in low-income households as well.
