Iowa law mandates a new broker 529
Governor Vilsack has signed HF 2553, under which the state must establish a broker-sold 529 savings program by December 31, 2005. The current Iowa 529 plan, College Savings Iowa, is not distributed through brokers. See Sec. 16 of HF 2553 with the link provided below.
