Foundation member managers find age-based options most popular
Investment firm members of the College Savings Foundation report that 66.2% of their 529 assets were in "age-based" portfolio options as of June 30, 2003, compared to 25.8% in static portfolios and 8% in individual fund portfolios. These members represent $16.04 billion of the $43 billion in 529 savings program assets as of June 30, 2004.
