Rhode Island 529 sticks with Alliance Capital
The Providence Journal reported today that Rhode Island's State Investment Commission has decided not to pursue a change in program managers for its 529 savings plan. The current manager, Alliance Capital, has been tagged in the ongoing mutual fund investigations with allowing inappropriate market timing in one of its funds.
