Ivy InvestEd 529 Plan reduces costs and improves investment options
Effective September 18, 2017, Ivy Investments made enhancements to the InvestEd 529 Plan, offered through the state of Arizona, to provide financial advisors with a more competitive and cost-effective college savings product they can offer clients. The Plan’s sales charges have been lowered from 5.75% to 2.5%, and minimum initial investments have been reduced to $250 (or $150 with automated investments) from $750. Three age-based portfolio options, as well as five passively managed index funds have also been added to the plan.
