Utah cuts UESP plan fees and modifies plan
The Utah Educational Savings Plan (UESP) recently made several changes to the program, effective June 14, 2017:
• The annual "Administrative Asset Fee" was reduced from 0.17% to 0.16%
• The plan added several age brackets for participants in an effort to "make accounts less vulnerable to sharp market fluctuations on the day when an account moves to the next age bracket"
• Vanguard Total International Bond Index Fund was added as an underlying option inside several age-based options for diversification
• Several new portfolios, including two socially-conscious investment options, were added as possible investments within the Customized Age-Based and Customized Static options
