New Jersey's NJBEST expands options, will reduce fees

The NJBEST 529 College Savings Plan has expanded from one age-based option to three options. The original age-based investment option has been renamed the Growth Asset Allocation, and is now joined by the Age-Based Moderate Asset Allocation and the Age-Based Conservative Asset Allocation.

The NJBEST program manager fee is scheduled to be reduced from 0.40% to 0.20% on January 1, 2010. The plan is managed by Franklin Templeton.
