Maine 529 announces investment and fee changes
(February 4, 2007) - Maine has announced changes to its direct-sold NextGen 529 savings plan to become effective in the second quarter of 2007. New investment options will be implemented at a lower cost than the current options and annual asset-based fees will range from 0.20% to 0.96%. In addition, the account maintenance fee, already waived for Maine residents, will be reduced from $50 to $25 in the direct-sold series.
