Bankrate, Inc. [NASDAQ: RATE] acquired Savingforcollege.com in December 2007, aiming to provide consumers with fast, objective information to help make important financial decisions.
JFH Innovative LLC acquired Savingforcollege.com in December 2010 and continues the mission, aiming to help consumers and professional advisors better understand how to meet the challenge of paying higher education costs.
Savingforcollege.com was sold to College Savings Holdings, LLC in December 2012. In addition to Savingforcollege.com, College Savings Holdings LLC also owns GradSave.com, a college savings registry that allows friends & family to make gifts into a child's 529 college savings account and Gradvisor.com, the online college savings solution for employers that provides personalized advice for all participants.
