Assets in 529 college savings plans rose to $321 billion in 1Q 2018, up from $319 billion in the previous quarter. Assets in prepaid plans were down from $25 billion in the previous quarter, to $24 billion. There were 20,653 ABLE accounts invested in $98.6 million in assets, up from 17,314 accounts, invested in $72.0 million, up from according to new data from Strategic Insight.
