Audrey Smith, Vice President for Enrollment, Smith College

Audrey Smith, Vice President for Enrollment at Smith College, is responsible for all aspects of undergraduate student recruitment, selection, enrollment, financial aid and undergraduate student records for the college. Ms. Smith oversees the Admission, Registrar and Student Financial Services offices, and provides institutional leadership in developing and implementing student recruitment and financial aid strategies. Her responsibilities include articulating annual and long-term admission goals, developing strategies to meet financial aid and revenue goals in a need-conscious admission environment, ensuring compliance in the areas of student records, billing and financial aid for the college and School for Social Work, and supporting the college's priorities of excellence and diversity in its student body. She also provides leadership in the national conversation about access and affordability in American higher education.

She came to Smith in 2000 as director of admission following ten years in the position of director of admissions at Hampshire College. Previously, she served as director of admissions and director of enrollment management at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N. J. and as associate director of alumni affairs at Macalester College.
