Pricing is specifically aligned to the age of your child when you purchase the contract. The younger your child is when you buy a contract, the more you save on the purchase of a prepaid tuition plan.

Prices for contracts purchased during the 2021-22 enrollment period range from as little as $5,099 for a one-year community college contract for a newborn to as much as $49,226 for a four-year university contract for a child in the ninth through twelfth grades.

The minimum contribution amount is $300 for one Tuition Certificate per maturity year.

2021-22 Enrollment:
MET contracts offer three purchase options: Lump Sum, Pay-As-You-Go, and Monthly.

The Pay-As-You-Go option allows purchases of credit hours. From December 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022, prices range from $120 per credit hour for a community college contract to $750 per credit hour for a full benefits contract.

Monthly purchases are available in four, seven, ten, and fifteen year increments, depending on the age of the beneficiary. From December 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022 payments range from $15 for community college benefits (newborn to age 2) to $1,640 for full benefits (newborn to 8th grade).

For the period of December 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022, lump sum prices range from as little as $1,800 for a one-semester community college contract to as much as $90,000 for a four-year full benefits contract.

In the 2021-2022 enrollment period, prices range from as little as $3,931 for a one-year junior/community college contract for a newborn to as much as $51,127 for a four-year university contract for a twelfth grader.

In the 2022-23 enrollment period, prices range from as little as $4,828 for a two-year community college contract for a newborn to as much as $27,081 for a four-year university contract for a ninth grader. An extended payment plan is available. For 2022-23 enrollment, the first payment is due May 15, 2023.

Ranges from a minimum of $25 to as much as the cost of five years of undergraduate tuition and mandatory fees at the highest-cost participating institution. Account owners must contribute a minimum of $500 within two years of opening an account. An automatic contribution plan is available.

No longer accepting new enrollments. On September 30, 2021, account owners received a lump sum final payment for any remaining units in an account.
