Wisconsin selects TIAA-CREF to manage 529 plan
(May 21, 2012) - The state of Wisconsin has selected TIAA-CREF Tuition Financing Inc. (TFI) as the winner bidder for the 529 plan manager role in Wisconsin and will enter into contract negotiations with the firm.
TFI will be taking over for Wells Fargo, which is exiting the 529 plan management business. The transition is anticipated to occur sometime around October 2012.
