529 assets continue to slide
(May 26, 2009) - Assets in all 529 college savings plan were $85.9 billion at March 31, 2009, a 22% decrease from the $109.9 billion in assets a year earlier, and a 3% drop from the $88.5 billion in assets at the beginning of the first quarter of 2009. The data was compiled by Financial Research Corp. and released by the College Savings Foundation.
