Futuretrust and Waterfield offer 529 checking account
(April 26, 2009) - Checking accounts established with Waterfield Bank through the Futuretrust Banking Center will earn a minimum of 1 percent interest to be automatically deposited into a 529 plan of the account holder's choice.
Futuretrust is a no cost program enabling families and friends to save for college through everyday spending. In addition to the Futuretrust Banking Center, the program offers the Futuretrust MasterCard.
A minimum balance of $500 is required for the 1% checking account.
