TD Ameritrade survey finds fewer American saving for college

(September 3, 2008) - A new survey conducted by Opinion Research Corporation on behalf of TD AMERITRADE Holding Corporation has found that more than a third (36 percent) of parents have stopped or reduced saving for their children’s education due to the current economic climate even though most (87 percent) consider an education savings plan to be extremely or very important.
