Kentucky to change fee structure, add options
(August 19, 2008) - The Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA) and TIAA-CREF Tuition Financing, Inc. have announced a change in fee structure for the Kentucky Education Savings Plan Trust, and the addition of two new investment options, effective September 2, 2008. Total asset-based fees under the new structure will range from 0.61% to 0.91%, with a decrease in the total fee for the Managed Allocation Option from 0.80% to 0.70%. The two new options are the Active Equity Option and the Fixed Income Option.
In addition, the name of the 100% Equity Option will change to the Equity Index Option, effective November 3, 2008.
