Survey finds grandparents want to help pay for college
(January 8, 2008) - A survey of over 400 grandparents jointly conducted by Grandparents.com and Focalyst found that over half (59%) of grandparents believe it is important to make financial investments for grandchildren, and of that group 71% said they wanted to contribute to their grandchild's education.
Sixty percent of grandparents surveyed cited the Internet as their top source for information and advice with half of grandparents spending 10 or more hours online each week.
