Georgia 529 changes name, reduces fees
(December 11, 2007) - The Georgia Higher Education Savings Plan has changed its name to Path2College 529 Plan in conjunction with the addition of new investment options and the lowering of expenses.
A 100% Fixed Income Option has been added to the menu. In March, 2008 a Money Market Option will also be added.
The all-inclusive fee for the age-based options has been reduced from 0.78% to 0.65%. Total expenses on the fixed options range from 0.50% to 0.76%.
