FRC reports shows 3Q growth of 4.4% in 529 assets
(November 28, 2007) - Financial Research Corporation reports that assets in all 529 savings plans rose to approximately $109.5 billion at the end of the 2007 third quarter, up 4.4% from the estimated $104.9 billion at the end of the 2007 second quarter.
Assets were 33.6% higher than the $81.9 billion in 529 savings assets at the end of the 2006 third quarter. Net sales for the most recent quarter were $2.2 billion compared with $0.8 billion for the third quarter of last year.
