Illinois' Bright Start makes switch to OppenheimerFunds
(July 25, 2007) - The Illinois Bright Start College Savings Program has made the switch from former manager Legg Mason to new manager OFI Private Investments Inc., an affiliate of OppenheimerFunds Inc. The direct-sold version of the plan features a lineup of active investment options managed by Oppenheimer along with index options using Vanguard index funds. The adviser-sold version offers the actively-managed options.
