Utah 529 reduces account fees for most
(June 29, 2007) - The account administrative fee in Utah's 529 savings plan, UESP, is reduced as of July 1, 2007 to $4 per $1,000 of account balance with a maximum annual fee of $20. Previously, the fee was $5 per $1,000 of account balance with a $25 annual maximum fee. The fee is waived for Utah residents.
Investments in Option 1 are now subject to the same fee structure as the other 8 investment options in the plan. Previously, fees were waived for Option 1 (money market) investments.
