Georgia changes tax deduction limits
(May 18, 2007) - Georgia's governor has signed a bill (H.B. 225) into law that removes the income, dependency, and itemization requirements relating to the state's income tax deduction for contributions to Georgia's 529 savings plan.
The new rules are effective for the 2007 tax year.
