College Board reports average tuition increases for 2006-07
(October 25, 2006) - The College Board has released its annual survey, Trends in College Pricing, showing 2006-07 tuition and fee increases averaging 6.3%, 4.1%, and 5.9% for 4-year public universities, 2-year public college, and 4-year private colleges respectively.
Total charges for full-time undergraduates, including tuition, fees, room, and board, are $12,796 at the average 4-year public university and $30,367 at the average 4-year private college.
