Connecticut 529 adds option, reduces fees
(June 22, 2006) - The Connecticut Higher Education Trust, a 529 savings program managed by TIAA-CREF, has added the 100% Equity Index Option and the 100% Fixed-Income Option to its menu. The program management fee (which includes underlying fund expenses) drops from 0.70% to 0.65% as of July 1, 2006. The maximum contribution limit is raised from $235,000 to $300,000.
