Ohio 529 offers new bank CD and savings account options
(September 1, 2005) - Ohio's CollegeAdvantage 529 Savings Plan now offers bank savings account and CD options. The FDIC-insured options are provided through Fifth Third Bank. The rate for the savings account option is 3.25% through August 31, 2006. CD rates currently range from 3.25% to 4.50% with maturities from 3 months to 144 months. Contributions can start as low as $15.
