CSPN adopts revised disclosure principles
(July 29, 2005) - The College Savings Plans Network has adopted a revised set of 529 plan disclosure principles to promote uniformity and transparency in the program disclosure materials produced by 529 programs. Disclosure Principles Statement No. 2 contain several alterations to the original set of disclosure principles adopted in December 2004. Nearly every state has either already updated their disclosure documents to conform to the principles or have indicated their intention to do so.
