Kansas increases deduction limits in 2005
(June 17, 2004) - Kansas Governor Sebelius has signed legislation increasing the limits on the state income tax deduction for contributions to a Kansas 529 plan from $2,000 to $3,000 (from $4,000 to $6,000 for joint filers). The higher deduction limits take effect in 2005.
