Wells Fargo to take over Wisconsin 529
(December 13, 2004) - Wisconsin state officials have approved Wells Fargo & Co. as manager of the EdVest 529 savings program, replacing Strong Capital Management. The approval comes as Wells Fargo finalizes plans to purchase Strong's mutual fund business. The EdVest management contract runs through May 2006.
