OppenheimerFunds takes over as Oregon program manager
(August 31, 2004) - Oregon has completed a change in program manager from Strong nvestment to OppenheimerFunds. The 529 plan now features age-based and lifestyle portfolios using OppenheimerFunds, and individual-fund portfolios using Vanguard funds. The program is available on a direct-sold basis to residents of any state, although nonresidents will pay a $20 annual account maintenance fee for each Vanguard portfolio. Total asset-based fees range from 0.33% to 1.04%.
