New stable value program opens in Colorado
(January 15, 2003) - Colorado has launched a new stable value investment program in the wake of the suspension of the Prepaid Tuition Fund. The new program offers a stable value investment through Travelers Insurance Company. The program will accept only $20 million of total contributions in 2003. The crediting rate for calendar year 2003 is 4.0%, net of a 0.99% program fee. The rate will change each calendar year.
