Changes may be in store for Virginia's prePAID plan

The state agency that administers the Virginia prePAID plan is exploring changes that would limit the plan's benefits on future contracts. With the changes, all new contracts would cover the weighted average of tuition and mandatory fees at a Virginia university. The current contract guarantees payouts for the entire cost of attending a Virginia 4-year or 2-year school.
