Virginia CollegeAmerica 529 to add target date options from American Funds
(April 30, 2012) - A story in Investment News reports that American Funds will be launching a new series of target-date mutual funds for inclusion in Virginia's CollegeAmerica 529 college-savings plan. The funds are expected to be added in September 2012.
CollegeAmerica is the largest 529 plan in the nation, but has never before offered the "age-based" option featured by most other 529 savings plans.
