IDeal adds Savings Portfolio
(December 7, 2011) - Idaho College Savings Program (IDeal) is offering a new investment option, the Savings Portfolio, which invests in the Sallie Mae High-Yield Savings Account (HYSA). The HYSA is held in an omnibus savings account insured by the FDIC, which is held in trust by the Idaho College Savings Program Board at Sallie Mae Bank.
The Guaranteed Option previously offered by IDeal has been closed and assets allocated to this investment option have been transitioned to the Savings Option.
