North Carolina 529 Plan reduces fees, adds Vanguard portfolios
(October 31, 2011) - Today the NC 529 Plan replaced V Fund Age-Based and Individual Investment Options with new Vanguard Age-Based and Individual Portfolios.
The new Age-Based Portfolios offer account holders an Aggressive, Moderate or Conservative Track. V Funds 1-8 have been replaced with eight corresponding Vanguard individual options and a ninth individual option has been added.
The changes reduce fees and expenses by 0.51% to range of 0.25% to 0.44%.
