Indiana 529 adding FDIC-insured CDs
(January 14, 2011) - Indiana plans to unveil its new CollegeChoice 529 Certificate of Deposit (CD) Savings Plan by March 1, 2011. The plan will offer three CD savings options from College Savings Bank: the CollegeSure® CD, the InvestorSure® CD and a series of fixed-rate CDs.
Indiana banks are being invited to partner with the program by making the CDs available through retail branches. The CDs will also be available for direct purchase from the plan.
College Savings Bank also provides its FDIC-insured CDs in 529 programs in Arizona and Montana.
