New Mexico direct 529 adds index options
(April 12, 2010) - The Education Plan's College Savings Program, a New Mexico-sponsored 529 savings program managed by OppenheimerFunds, has expanded its investment option menu to include an index-only age-based option along with static options blending different index funds.
The state administrative fee is 0.05% for the index-only options versus 0.10% for the plan's other options that contain both index and actively-managed funds. The $25 annual account fee is also waived for accounts with all assets invested in the new index options.
