Kentucky 529 reduces fees, adds new option
(November 17, 2009) - The Kentucky Education Savings Plan Trust (KESPT) now has a sixth investment option - the Balanced Option - along with lower fees.
The Balanced Option invests in a balanced combination of equity and fixed-income funds.
Program manager TIAA-CREF Tuition Financing, Inc. has reduced the total annual asset-based fee for the plan's age-based option (Managed Allocation Option) from 0.70% to 0.65%, and for the Equity Index Option from 0.58% to 0.55%.
