Oklahoma issues RFP for 529 program manager
(October 9, 2009) - The Oklahoma College Savings Plan Board of Trustees has issued a Request for Proposals for all plan services related to the direct-sold Oklahoma College Savings Plan and adviser-sold OklahomaDream529.
The current manager is TIAA-CREF Tuition Financing Inc. which has managed the Oklahoma College Savings Plan since its inception in 2000. TIAA-CREF is also manager of the OklahomaDream 529, launched in 2009, but subcontracts services for that plan to Allianz Global Investors.
Proposals are due November 12, 2009 and program start date for the winning bidder is April 4, 2010.
