Melissa Stiles, American Century Investments

Melissa Stiles is the 529 plan business manager for American Century Investments, a premier investment management company headquartered in Kansas City, Mo.

Ms. Stiles, who joined American Century in 1995, has been involved with the 529 industry since 2000. She is currently responsible for managing the day-to-day program management of the firm's 529 plan business. These responsibilities include relationship management with the Kansas State Treasurer's Office and key distribution partner Charles Schwab & Co., Inc, oversight of all facets of the program, which includes program marketing, service, and distributions. She also serves as an advocate for the 529 plan internally at American Century as well as externally through industry organizations.
